Amadeus announces new appointment in the Sales and Marketing team and new U.S. Value-Added Reseller to drive growth
Quebec City, September 28th, 2006 —Amadeus International, Inc. (TSX-V: AML), a pioneer and leader of advanced compliance process control solutions, is pleased to announce its plans to accelerate growth and market penetration within the United States, and the appointment of one of its company veterans, Mr. Pierre-François Isabel as Vice President, Sales and Marketing.
As a 7-year veteran with Amadeus and former Vice President of Operations, Pierre-François Isabel has been a significant contributor to the company, and this, in various positions with increasing responsibilities. This new appointment underscores his value and deep commitment to the company, as well as the confidence of the CEO and the Board of Directors in his leadership and vision.
The appointment of Pierre-François Isabel follows an exhaustive review of Amadeus’ positioning in its primary market. The organization is now focused on three target sectors: life sciences, manufacturing and financial services, and fosters a client-driven culture, where understanding the needs of organizations within these sectors is paramount to its success. “I have worked with Pierre-François for nine months now, and he constantly demonstrates a customer satisfaction-oriented and client problem-solving philosophy”, said Amadeus’ President and CEO, Mr. Yves Leblanc. “His client and management abilities, combined to his experience with IT solutions to solve business regulatory challenges make him the ideal person to lead Amadeus’ Sales and Marketing team.”
As Amadeus seeks deeper market penetration within the U.S., the company has developed a clear strategy to extend its distribution channel to facilitate growth and increased revenue. Amadeus is pleased to announce TechPIT Solutions Inc. as the first U.S.-based independent Value-Added Reseller. TechPIT Solutions is a Chicago-based Microsoft Certified Partner organization dedicated to the implementation and delivery of value-added solutions, validation, and implementation services for clients throughout the Unites States. TechPIT is led by Valarie King-Bailey, former Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Amadeus.
