Amadeus Enjoyed Record Attendance at BIO 2006
Quebec City, April 24, 2006 – Amadeus International inc. (TSX-V: AML) is proud to announce its recent participation in the 14th Annual International Convention of the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), which ended last Wednesday. BIO Chicago surpassed records, with 19,479 attendees stemming from 62 countries.
The exhibit hall at BIO 2006 was the largest gathering of biotechnology exhibitors ever recorded, encompassing more than 1,700 companies, organizations, and institutions, which altogether represented every aspect of the biotechnology industry. Former U.S. President Bill Clinton, Health and Human Services Secretary Michael O. Leavitt, an ethanol-fueled race car, as well as the world's largest indoor cornfield boosted attendance at BIO 2006. Amadeus representatives were available during exhibit hours to discuss and demonstrate the eQCM compliance process control suite, a complete solution that helps organizations manage and control highly regulated processes and reduce regulatory risk.
