Amadeus Announces Executive Management Team Restructuring

Quebec City, October 18th, 2005 – Amadeus International inc. “Amadeus” (TSX-V: AML), global leader of advanced compliance process control solutions, today announced the restructuring of its executive management team to accelerate global business operations.  As part of this restructuring, Mr. Alain Contant, who served for the last 7 years as founder-President and Chief Executive Officer will now devote time as a special advisor and member of the Board of Directors.   In his new role, Mr. Contant will help ensure a smooth transition and actively participate in the elaboration and execution of the strategic plan of the company. In the meantime, Mr. John Scandar, member of the Amadeus Board of Directors, will serve as interim Managing Director.

Since the recent acquisition of M3K and the recent expansion of global operations, Amadeus has a unique opportunity to streamline the existing management team and take advantage of opportunities to refocus the company's market approach.  According to Mr. Benoît Côte, Chairman of the Board of Directors, “Amadeus is experiencing significant market momentum. Following Alain's desire to relinquish his responsibilities as Chief Executive Officer, it was important that we acted quickly to reposition the team Amadeus has an experienced and dedicated group of executives and we are all now totally focused on realizing the potential of Amadeus process control solutions.  We thank Alain for his efforts thus far, and look forward to build on the foundation he has established.”  

Mr. Contant and the board have mutually agreed that this restructuring is necessary and he feels that he will better serve the organization’s interest by his role in the Amadeus Board of Directors.  “I am confident that the changes we are announcing today will improve overall performance and will allow me to spend more time focused on key strategic initiatives at the board level”.

As part of this restructuring, Amadeus announced several key executive management appointments.   Mr. Frederic Garand, who has been with Amadeus since 6 years, was named Chief Financial Officer.  Ms. Valarie King-Bailey is appointed as the VP of Sales and Marketing and Mr. Pierre-François Isabel, also with Amadeus since 6 years, was appointed VP of R&D and Operations.  Mr. Louis-Martin Durand has been appointed VP of Amadeus’ new consulting division dedicated to the delivery of corporate governance solutions.
