Amadeus announces resignation of a member of its Board of Directors
Quebec City, June 7th, 2006 – Amadeus International, Inc. (TSX: AML), a pioneer and leader of advanced compliance process control solutions, announced today the resignation of Mr Nitin Kaushal as a Board member, effective immediately. Mr Kaushal was also a member of the Audit Committee of the Corporation.
Mr Kaushal said he is leaving the Board with great pride in Amadeus’ accomplishments. He is thankful to Amadeus for allowing him to be instrumental in its evolution ever since it has become a public company.
It is Mr Kaushal’s wish to leave Amadeus’ Board of Directors in order to fully devote himself to the Canadian biotechnology and health sciences industries. "The Board wishes to thank Mr Kaushal for his significant contribution to Amadeus International. Mr Kaushal was a great contributor in Amadeus’ success”, stated Mr Benoît Côte, Chairman of the Board.
In the meantime, actions were undertaken so as to appoint a qualified person to fill the position left vacant by Mr Kaushal’s departure.
