Acquisition by DECIMAL of the majority of operating assets of Amadeus, a division of DECIMAL
Longueuil, July 9, 2008 – DECIMAL, a company specialized in corporate performance management solutions and professional services, announces today that it has concluded an asset purchase agreement for the majority of Amadeus, a division of DECIMAL. (« Amadeus ») operating assets.
Under the agreement, DECIMAL has acquired the majority of Amadeus’ tangible and intangible assets used in operating the enterprise, including software and source code of Providence®, eQRP® and eQCM®, the latter being Amadeus’ flagship enterprise compliance and quality management product. DECIMAL has also acquired the intellectual property and rights to client contracts, including the execution of maintenance contracts currently in force.
The majority of Amadeus’ employees have concluded employment contracts with DECIMAL, therefore ensuring the continued development of eQCM® and the on going market development and customer support efforts.
Through this transaction, DECIMAL also gains an operating base in Quebec City at 400, boulevard Jean-Lesage, suite 500.
